For the past 25 years, Bill has built an expertise in residential real estate development and the local housing market of the Lake Norman area. His passion is building great teams and the creative process of designing and developing projects that enhance his hometown of Davidson and the greater Lake Norman community. Holliday Homes allows Bill to pursue daily this passion.
Prior to Holliday Homes, Bill was founding partner of Blue Heel Development, a residential land development and construction firm focused on developing active adult and townhome communities in the Charlotte and Raleigh markets of North Carolina. Prior to founding Blue Heel Development, he was principal of a private finance company focused on asset based lending for residential development projects in the Charlotte area and surrounding greater metro area. He began his career in the banking industry with NCNB (now Bank of America). Bill is a die hard Tar Heel (pretty sure his blood runs Carolina Blue) and is a 1990 graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
Bill serves as an Elder at Storyhill Church in Davidson (formally Lake Forest Davidson) and has most recently led the church's efforts to secure and rezone land located on South Main Street in Davidson as well as develop plans for the permanent home for Storyhill Church. He is currently is a member of the Lake Norman Young Life leadership Committee. And he regularly has led or served on mission teams coming alongside the Children's Impact Network and their missions at the Bolivia Life Center and the Honduras Life Center orphanages located in Sipe Sipe, Bolivia and Pena Blanca, Honduras.
Bill and his wife Holly have called Davidson home for over 20 years. They have four children (Hollins, Will, Campbell and Dillon) and two golden retrievers (Champ and Heath, who just so happen to be the Holliday Homes official mascots). He enjoys spending time with family and friends, playing tennis and pickleball, white water kayaking with his sons, learning how to fly fish, or simply enjoying a relaxing day on Lake Norman.
